Emotion: stubbornness.
Stubborn people are often called "square," which inspired a rigid, symmetrical bottle built from cubes. Set on a brutalist vanity, it takes the form of thick, clear glass with faceted corners, topped with an opaque concrete lid. A mechanism inside the lid only lets it open at one straight angle, so the user experiences the stubbornness rather than just seeing it.

Emotion: melancholy.
Rooted in a sadness tied to absence, the form began as a rectangle with missing corners, softened with worn transitions. Placed inside a melancholic person's purse, it became a slim, travel-sized solid perfume compact with draped, asymmetric textures. Its cold chrome exterior reflects stillness, while a locket-style hinge and a slow magnetic closure recall the nostalgia and weight of the emotion.
